The apartment I’m staying is nice.  Actually, it’s really nice particularly when judged by European standards of private residences.  My apartment is half a block off the water’s edge and I am on the fourth (i.e. European third) floor.

I live in an area called Redcliff.  The name comes from the church in the area, St. Mary Redcliff’s.  The church itself is formidable in appearance and also happens to hold the tomb of William Penn, the man after whom the state of Pennsylvania was named.
